Personal Profile...

Hi guys, here's just a condensed profile of my performing journey.
So I was a late starter when it came to performing. I had always enjoying watching it, but it wasn’t until my brother asked me to join a youth theatre group at aged 11, that the road to becoming a performer truly began.
Once there, my youth workers inspired and encouraged me. They advised me to go to college and study dance, but it took a further 4 years before I thought “I’m gonna go for it”. After 5 very hard, enjoyable, but rewarding years I came out of The Hammond School with my National Diploma in Musical Theatre. During my Graduate showcase I was scouted to join an agency in London. I couldn’t believe my luck?! Still in college and I had an agent! Then the next task of auditioning began.
Finally I was offered my first job onboard the Norwegian Star as a Singer/Dancer. It was a great start to my career, travelling the world and performing, what a great combination? With my first salary I went travelling around Australia & New Zealand.
After my travels, I decided to move to London to carry on auditioning.  Moving to ‘the big smoke’ was hard and very trying, but an experience I’m glad to have had. I then went back onboard the ‘Star’ as a dancer for a short contract. Now, I am now a Principal Singer on the Norwegian Dawn, and I’m loving it, I’ve been waiting for this chance for a long time.
As I get older, I’m thinking towards the future and I know I can’t perform forever, so that’s why I’ve joined this course, so I can cover my back and broaden my horizons and look forward to a fulfilling and rewarding future.
